Cities and towns offer farmers markets to stock up on local products before the end-of-year celebrations and illuminations of the villages are visible from December 1st.

THE MEILLERAIE-TILLAY : Christmas market all day at the Mooréa hall on Sunday November 24, 2024.
POZAUGES : The Caldarane Choir of Pouzauges and the Amis Voix des Herbiers choir will perform Christmas carols and classical songs in the Saint-Jacques Church at 15:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 24.

Distributed more than half of the site (i.e. 1,5 ha), around sixty local artisans and producers are present to make you discover traditional products of the region and propose Christmas presents and various objects to decorate the tree.
In this magical universe, come and discover among snow-covered fir trees : Songs, shows, illuminations of the castle and projections, and let yourself be carried away in a magical atmosphere in the heart of an exceptional historic site.

CHAMBRETAUD (Chanverrie): Winter festival organized by the Cœur de Diamant association on Saturday, November 30 from 16 p.m. to 22 p.m. Artisan market, concert, illuminations, ride on a little train to discover the fir trees of the Made In Chambretaud merchants.

SAINT MESMIN : Saint-Nicolas at the Château de Saint-Mesmin. By a miracle, Saint Nicholas will appear at the castle perhaps accompanied by his donkey. The communes of Bocage Vendéen are adorned with a thousand lights, from December 1, 2024, stroll through the towns of Chantonnay, Les Herbiers, Montaigu, Pouzauges, Les Essarts, admire the decorations of the shop windows and the illuminations.

A Saint Hilaire de Loulay, discover the illuminations of the Le Grand Rorthais farm! Meet Santa Claus and his animals (donkeys, ponies and alpacas), taste mulled wine, apple juice and pancakes, cotton candy on certain evenings.
