On the old railway line from 1900, the landscapes of the Vendée bocage are revealed: sunken road, valley of the Sevre Nantes. During the trip, you will cross three valleys on viaducts: Barbin (300m long and 38m high), Coutigny and Haute Maunerie before arriving at Les Herbiers station.

A steam train ride
During your stay around Puy du Fou, go back in time aboard the Chemin de Fer de la Vendée. 22 km at full steam between Mortagne sur Sèvre station and Les Herbiers. At Les Herbiers station, take out your camera! The maneuvers of the railway workers make the show: filling the locomotive with water, maintenance... before returning to the Gare de Mortagne. Departure at 15:30 p.m. from Mortagne for a commented walk and return at 18 p.m.
The train runs:
- June and September: every Sunday at 15 p.m.,
