PARC DE LA SENARDIERE
Remains of an old castle dating from the beginning of the 8th century, surrounded by a moat XNUMX meters wide and decorated with recently restored Renaissance gardens.
This departmental site is divided into two grassy platforms surrounded by moats. The first, low level, is flanked by two partially collapsed towers. The second, high level, is undoubtedly one of the finest examples of Renaissance squares on the island remaining in the Vendée. It is embellished with a mall of lime trees and a few isolated trees, including two large yews.
