On the edge of the Sèvre Nantaise, in the small village of Gaumier stands the only fulling mill in France, in working order.
Witness to the hydraulic exploitation of the river, this mill invites us to discover one of the local specificities: the work of wool. Embellished with panels and explanatory terminals, the mill now tells its story, recounting the time when its pestles punctuated daily life.
