Nicole and Denis Soulard are producers of farm cheese made from raw cow's milk and have recently also been producing milk jam. A delight!
The Gaec La Source is a dairy cow farm located in the Vendée Valley, whose diet is based on pasture from March to November.
Nicole and Denis wanted to diversify their activity by launching into the production of organic raw cow's milk farm cheese.
Recently, Nicole added a little sweetness with the milk jam which is made with whole milk from the farm, sugar… and…. patience. The reduction of the milk gives a deliciously caramelized taste flavored with vanilla and “Charrette” white rum.
Find their products every Friday from 17 p.m. to 19 p.m. at the Fumoire in Montournais (direct sale at the maintained farm. Organization with barrier gestures), at the various food markets (Pouzauges, St Mesmin) and at the Pays de Pouzauges Tourist Office.
