Fishing is a regulated activity. It is essential to have a carte to fish. Occasional or regular, the Federation fishing in Vendée offers day, week or year-long solutions for discovering or improving your skills.
The Tourist offices sell fishing licenses and inform you about where to go fishing near your vacation spot.
Fishing an activity in the middle of nature
Whether you are a great fisherman or just an amateur, you can discover the fishing grounds of Vendée Bocage, with your family while enjoying the nautical activities which are offered there. At the same time, you can make a small balade around lakes or along rivers.
After a morning of fishing, you can continue your adventures by hiking in the middle of nature. You can also go pedal boating, boating, canoeing... and visit the most famous historic sites in the Vendée bocage: Logis de la Chabotterie, Château de Tiffauges... You and your family can take a picnic in designated areas.
