Promote my tourist structure

You have created your structure, the work is finished, you now need to think about promoting and communicating to appear on the main communication media at your disposal.

Communication via Internet is essential, by referencing your structure on the e-spirit database, by creating your own website, by being present on Google via your Google My Business profile and appearing on Google maps... as well as communication via the paper tools : the business card remains the main tool for the network.

1st step : inform your town hall andthe Tourist Office in your territory, they will be the first communication relays and will inform you of the first steps.

The 2nd step is to choose the mode of marketing that suits your structure. The direct relationship is ideal but it can take time to make yourself known and to gain natural referencing for your website. We can also advise you on the marketplace to choose for your structure between the different online travel agencies.

Pays de la Loire tourism organizations have created a shared tourist database: spirit. It powers the websites, paper editions and other digital media linked to it. It also allows all agents of the Pays de la Loire Tourist Offices to have access to information at reception.

Spirit : is the tourist information network of Pays de la Loire, it is the regional tourist database.

After a first meeting to make yourself known, the Tourist Office creates your file on the database. Then, it is you who ensures the update each year. This update takes place between September and October for the following year, you correct your prices, contact details, description, you change your photos... The Tourist Office in your area validates these changes. They will be visible approximately 24 hours after the update on digital communication media.

The e-spirit database powers websites vendeebocage.fr, vendeetourisme.com et enpaysdelaloire.com, digital terminals at the Herbiers Tourist Office, at the Aqua°bulles aquatic center in Saint Fulgent, Tiffauges, Mouchamps and Les Epesses and theVendée Bocage app downloadable from the store. The information you enter is that which is visible to the Internet user, your future customer.

The App and terminals

Thanks to my e-spirit file, my structure is visible on the Vendée Bocage App and the interactive terminals at Herbiers, Mouchamps, Les Epesses, Tiffauges and Aqua°bulles in Saint-Fulgent.

The Vendée Bocage app allows the visitor, once on site, to find reliable, qualified and geolocated. Find a restaurant near a visiting site, a walk or even check the weather, prepare your activities. The App is also a real stay advice tool for you, hosts, restaurateurs, visiting sites, who welcome customers seeking information or their favorites.

New for 2024: the App will host the visit passport (digital version of the Tourist Pass).
