Circuit of the washhouses of Chantonnay

Description
A fully signposted 52 km walk, starting from the city center, ave. de Lattre de Tassigny, opposite the rescue centre, to discover or rediscover the history of the town's 10 washhouses.
It is a project carried out for almost two years by members of the Living Environment and Environment commission of the Council of Elders of the City of Chantonnay. With the support of municipal services, they have restored their former colors to the 10 wash houses and enhanced these places steeped in history.
Thanks to the information panels, walkers can now discover the unique stories of each of them.
This new 52 km circuit is fully signposted and is also divided into 4 loops, all leaving and returning to the Moulinet washhouse located in the city center:
Loop 1 of 13 km: Le Moulinet – Le Doué de la Foire – Puysault – Puybelliard – Le Moulinet.
Loop 2 of 15 km: Le Moulinet – La Culère – Les Clous – Le Moulinet.
Loop 3 of 14 km: Le Moulinet – Le Fuiteau – Le Moulinet.
Loop 4 of 21 km: Le Moulinet – La Châtaigneraieaux – Côteaux – La Solissonnière – La Roche de St Mars – Le Moulinet.
