Roselyne MONTASSIER-CORMIER Ceramist Sculptor
I trained at the 'potter's house' in FUILET (49) from 2007 to 2009 where I was introduced to the various techniques of shaping and firing clay.
I then created my workshop in a small village - Rocheservière (85) 30 km south of Nantes.
Contrast is the key word in my astral and organic inspired creations.
The graphic and refined shapes highlight the combination of raw clay with the softness of polished engobe. The opposition of colors is also decisive to keep the natural aspect.
