La Savonnerie des Collines, soap manufacturer in the Vendée Bocage, sells donkey milk soaps in stores and online for the whole family.
From April to September, the Savonnerie des Collines offers a guided tour that immerses us in the history of soap and its manufacture, a visit suitable for the whole family.
Shop
Since 2010, Nicolas Pasquier has been manufacturing quality artisanal products. In 2016, the Savonnerie des Collines moved to a stone's throw from Puy du Fou® by developing:
- A tour of the history of soap
- A guided tour by Nicolas on soap making
- A larger shop with a nice area of local products
Among the different products, we can find soaps for fragile, sensitive, dry skin but also baby soaps, body care, argan oil, shower gels, Aleppo and Marseille soaps, Alum stones, soaps. and vegetable soaps.
Values
The soap factory respects the fauna and flora by making ecological products. Indeed, they are made with ingredients of natural origin, without animal fat, without preservatives, or palm oil.
These are natural soaps with donkey's milk and vegetable oils that are not aggressive for the skin and can be used by everyone. The company adopts good social, environmental and economic practices. For example, donkey's milk comes from the Nanous farm at Boupère (10 minutes from Les Epesses).
Children's visit
La Savonnerie des Collines is part of the Club des intrépides circuit and offers children a specific visit:
- Once upon a time there was soap : Go with P'tit Mousse and have fun as a family discovering soap through the ages. Come to meet a craftsmanship by attending the manufacture of soaps.
