The Olympic flame arrives in Vendée on Tuesday June 4, 2024! Discover the complete route planned for its passage in Vendée, and more particularly in the Vendée bocage.

The passing of the Olympic flame in Vendée Bocage
Each course will be between 3 and 6 km with relays of 200 to 300 meters. Around a hundred torchbearers will carry the laziness in turn along the different routes.
Passage of the Olympic flame in Montaigu-Vendée

11:29 a.m. – Montaigu-Vendée
The start will take place at the Jules Ferry college, then the porters will set off towards the Place de l'Hôtel-de-Ville. The Olympic flame will then pass through the city center to the Maxime Bossis sports center.
A journey geared towards youth, with more than 12 schoolchildren expected on the stage.
During the Torch Relay, many activities will be present along the route: marching bands, sports shows, giant screens.

Passage of the Olympic flame at Puy du Fou®

12:30 p.m. – Puy du Fou®
Le Puy du Fou® is the 4th place crossed by the Olympic flame in Vendée.
The torch will follow a route lasting nearly 45 minutes through the paths of the park and the various shows: Richelieu's Musketeer, The Mime and the Star and The Vikings.
1000 costumed actors will accompany the flame during this unique stage!
Only visitors with a ticket for June 14, 2024 will be able to see the Olympic Flame inside the Puy du Fou.

The complete and detailed program of the route in Vendée
Discover the 7 stages of the Olympic flame journey in Vendée!
- 8 a.m. – Passage du Gois : in parallel, activities are planned in Beauvoir-sur-Mer to make the most of this exceptional day. Access to Gois will be prohibited to the public.
- 8:35 a.m. – Fontenay-le-Comte : Place de Verdun: around thirty events will take place on the square, as well as a BMX freestyle show, an aerial circus show, the establishment of a climbing wall or a interactive quiz in Vendée with many prizes to be won.
- 11:29 a.m. – Montaigu-Vendée : Maxime-Bossis sports center: many events are planned on site with a catering center. Place de l'Hôtel-de-Ville: freestyle football show and a giant screen to experience the event live. Place du Champ de Foire: Vélo smoothie, interactive led wall, quiz with prizes to be won and a giant screen to follow the Flame after its passage. Along the route: different entertainment venues will be set up with sports demonstrations, music, etc.
- 12:30 p.m. – Puy du Fou® : Only visitors with a ticket for June 4, 2024 will be able to see the Olympic Flame inside the Puy du Fou Park.
- 14:51 p.m. – La Roche-sur-Yon : Arago sports complex: visual entertainment and a musical stage await the public. Place de la Vendée: a real Flame village, with a giant screen and activities all day long, and different animations such as a large power game 4 basketball version, a participatory fresco, a strolling musical group, or even an interactive quiz on the Vendée with numerous prizes to be won. Place Napoleon: musical entertainment. Along the route: different stages dedicated to music and dance, as well as areas reserved for schools.
- 17:17 p.m. – Pointe d’Arçay : Before and after the passage, activities will take place on site with the creation of a fresco land'art on the beach, the reception of local schools for introductions to beach sports, or the setting up of a 9 kilometer race made up of stages of 120 to 150 meters with an arrival at the skate park dedicated to disciplines street (rollers, skateboards, etc.). The day will end in style with a fireworks. The Relay will be followed on a giant screen throughout the day.
- 17:58 p.m. – Les Sables d’Olonne : Along the route: a dozen musical groups and brass bands will set the mood and giant screens will allow you to follow the progress of the relay. Chenal du Vendée Globe: collective torch relay showcasing sailing sports with a nautical sequence during which the torch will set sail. Place du Vendée Globe: from 15:30 p.m., presence of Barjots Dunkers and sporting demonstrations, then popular and musical festival with the lighting of the Olympic cauldron between 19:15 p.m. and 19:30 p.m. Court Square: from 20 p.m., musical partythen fireworks at 23 p.m. for a grand finale.
