Vendée will host the 2025 French Road Cycling Championships. The event will take place from June 26 to 29, 2025, in Les Herbiers. This sporting event will bring together the best French cyclists for four days of intense competition.
Organized by the French cycling federation and National Cycling League, French Road Cycling Championships are returning to Vendée for the 6th time. In total, around 600 runners and 110 teams and sports groups will be present for the competitions.
2025 French Cycling Championships in Les Herbiers
Discover in detail the courses the time trial and road race of the 2025 French Cycling Championships in Les Herbiers. The circuits, laid out in the heart of the Bocage Vendéen, will offer varied terrain.
The race program for the 2025 French Championship
The time trial will be 26,5 kilometers long for all the competitors involved, with a positive elevation gain of 400 meters. The finish will be at Mont des Alouettes.

- Thursday June 26 2025 : Amateur and Elite Time Trial, Women and Men over 26,5 km (400m elevation gain) with the Mont des Alouettes in the opposite direction of online races.
- Friday June 27 2025 : Amateur women's road race in the morning (99 km, 6 laps and 1 meters of elevation gain) / Amateur men's road race in the afternoon (300 km, 165 laps and 10 meters of elevation gain)
- Saturday June 28 2025 : Elite women's road race (115 km, 7 laps and 1 meters of elevation gain)
- Sunday June 29 2025 : Elite men's road race (231 km, 14 laps and 3 meters of elevation gain)
The finish lines for the races from Friday to Sunday will depart from Les Herbiers Town Hall. A team presentation will take place before each start. The finish lines will be at Mont des Alouettes, with a ceremony.

This cyclosportive is open to all enthusiasts. It is organized by the French Cycling Federation (FFC), the Departmental Council and the City of Les Herbiers.
The promise? Riding on the same circuit as the greatest French riders!
- Saturday, June 28 – departure at 15 p.m. in front of the Herbiers Town Hall (rue du Tourniquet)
- 117 kilometers
- An arrival at the summit of the legendary Mont des Alouettes
- Limited bibs to 1000 participants
- Registration until June 25 at 20 p.m.
Practical information
Motorhome parking in Les Herbiers
For the French Road Cycling Championship in Les Herbiers, 2 campervan reception areas are planned. This represents approximately 600 locations, close to the circuit. The parking lots will be accessible from Monday, June 23 to Monday, June 30. These spaces will be chargeable.
- Pricing : €32/space for the duration of the competition + tourist tax (€3,90/vehicle for the duration of the stay)
The motorhome parking areas will be equipped with:
- Drinking water points
- Drain point for gray water
- Black water drainage point
- Fire extinguisher zones
- Points for sorting waste
- Service reception with a bread depot
On site, volunteers will be present from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 14 p.m. to 19 p.m. to facilitate your installation.

Road closures during the French Cycling Championship in Les Herbiers
- Exclusive closure of the RD 160 : from Wednesday June 25, 2025 from 9 a.m. to Sunday 29 until 23:59 p.m. (section from Bel-Air to Chanverrie at the Vache-Rouge roundabout at the entrance to Les Herbiers).
- Closure of Tourniquet Street at Les Herbiers from Wednesday, June 25 at 14 p.m. until Sunday, June 29 at midnight.
Where to park in Les Herbiers during the French Cycling Championships?
Several areas of parking have been developed to provide numerous parking spaces for parking near the downtown during the event:
- At Jean Yole College
- At the Bus Station
- At the Cap Vert Swimming Pool
- At the Parc des Expos Station
- In the La Pépinière area
Parking will be prohibited along Church Street from Monday, June 21 at 9 a.m. until Sunday, June 29 at midnight.
The Liebertwolkwitz, Herbauges, Veterans' and Prise d'eau car parks will be closed from Wednesday, June 26 at 14 p.m. until Sunday, June 29 at midnight.
