The Department of Vendée offers Logis de la Chabotterie an evocative discovery of the sweetness of life in the countryside at the end of the 10th century, through XNUMX furnished historic rooms.
Site of the arrest of General Charette in 1796, this high place of the Vendée War presents a multimedia scenographic route retracing the main stages of the conflict.
The French-inspired garden, with its medicinal plants, vegetable garden and old-fashioned vegetables, as well as the ornamental garden with more than 120 varieties of flowers. Also visit the 48 ha wooded park, a green path with a pleasure garden, vegetable garden, wash house, river, meadows and woods.
