Pierre de Montfaucon, Lord of this castle, had the fortress built around 1370. In the Middle Ages, the castle was surrounded by water moats, fed by the river “Le Sevreau”. The Montfaucon family fortified the castle by adding the imposing keep of 28 meters in the XNUMXth century, crowned with a walkway. It is then accessed by a drawbridge.
